Sophisticated Kid Made Cut Paper Abstraction #2, Purple Construction Paper

-they struck (strike) me as quite sophisticated things, feeling as much like formal studies by an accomplished modern artist of the early-mid 20th century as by the work of children. (Hung on the wall in a museum, I would easily believe this was a sketch in advance of a sculpture done by, say, Hans Arp!) Crisp, elegant, and with the softening/fading to the color of the purple construction paper enhancing a sense of timelessness--really a very lovely and rather transcendent little piece. 

8" x 6 1/8". Some fading to the color of the construction paper and light toning to the white paper, all to the good I think.
