One of a bunch of smallish animals of various sorts gathered at Brimfield, this one I really like for the energetic puppy-ness of the carved spotted dog, suspended forever mid-leap, mouth open and tail high. Carved in deep relief, stained and varnished, 1940s-50s or so, I would guess.
6 1/4 l x 2 5/8 t x 3/4" d. Very good condition. Stands up on its own, but a hook easily added for hanging.
