Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs Silverplate "Onion" Candleholders - A Pair

This is a pair of classic Mid-Century Danish Modern silver-plate candleholders, designed in the 1960s by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs. They've got a great bi-level bottom that allows them to be displayed at a slant as well as displayed upright. Fun, and lovely both with candles in them (they take very thin tapers) or just by themselves...and they make great paperweights, too!

Excellent vintage condition; I found these a bit tarnished but they polished up with no effort at all. Each measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide.
