It's not often I see a folk art barn invested with as much love and attention as a really good house, but this one was--just great. Individually laid wood shingles for the roof, framed out windows with white painted panes, dark wood siding with a nice warm dry patina, and the roof lifts off should one wish to store some animals inside for the winter! I have to think this was based on a very specific barn, probably by the owner of said barn!
10 1/2” t x 9 1/8” w x 5 7/8” d and in very good condition, just missing a couple of bits of the white painted wood. Sturdy and sound. I'd guess 1920s-40s.
