Old Folk Art Marble Carved Flowers

A nice big chunk of white marble charmingly carved with fat flowers arching in every direction. I've been feeling drawn like a magnet to carved stone of all sorts lately, the chunkier and folkier the better, and this, for me, is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, satisfying on all sorts of levels.

7 3/4" w x 6 3/8" t x 1 5/8" d; weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces. Good condition, with a bit of darkening to the surface here and there and plenty of irregularities to the stone and the carving both, all to the good in my opinion.
