Fancy Furs, Mother's Muff, c. 1900 Cotrell & Leonard, Albany, NY Paper Label, Mounted, As Found

This made me laugh, and then think of French surrealism. "Mothers muff" and then "muff" again, handwritten on a paper "Fancy Furs" label from Cotrell & Loeonard fur shop, Albany NY. Great label, terrific lion, and even better as a found object. C. 1900.

8 3/8 x 8 3/8 as mounted to gray board. Very good condition.
