This wonderful wooden frog sculpture was created by C.M. Copeland, a folk art carver from Fitzgerald, Georgia. Known affectionately as the "happy wood carver" Copeland was renowned especially for his exceptional use of the grain of southern wood in his carving, beautifully exemplified in this frog.
A symbol of transition and transformation, this frog would be great perched on a shelf or sitting on a desk keeping an eye on things; it's also a great object to hold in your hand and to rub occasionally for good luck!
2 5/8" tall x 3" wide x 4.25" long. Excellent condition.
