Girl with Bird, Dog and Hunter, Cows in Pasture, Charming Early Transferware Bowl

A very sweet early 19th c. British transferware bowl, featuring three different scenes of human and animal interaction--my favorite being this girl and parrot sitting atop its cage, who look as if engaged in lively conversation! (A what a great face on her.) An excellent hunting dog (and an echo of him in the distance) going after a bird, too, and a cozy cow and dog and shepherd scene as the third. With hand-painted glazing--green, blue, yellow, red. Much better in hand, very charming.

6 1/8" in diameter x 3 3/8" t. General wear and crazing all over and a few fine hairlines, but sound and sturdy with no significant chips or cracks and no repairs.
