I'll never resist a homemade magic trick, and a sweet little thing this one, late 19th century or so, with the exterior of the cardboard covered in lovely gold and lavender paper. It's hard to document, but the folio is hinged in such a way that it can be opened one way, then the other, but not both at once--such that one could insert a coin, say, in the little blue paper pocket, then wave it around and open it the other way... ta da, the coin has disappeared! Pretty fun--low tech, but also pretty brilliant! Things like this give me great pleasure.
3 9/16" x 2 1/2" and in good antique condition, works perfectly.
