This is the second of these old Wolverine tin litho "Corner Grocer's" I've found, and think they're so fun I'll keep scooping them up when I find them. This one found complete with detachable "the Corner Grocer" banner at top, which attaches to the box via tabs that fit into slots along the top. No groceries on the shelves, but perfect for a collector of miniature food to stock full--or better yet for oneself, or one's kids, to make from scratch! The exterior is the most perfect green ever, and then this great lithographed interior portraying an old school grocery. Stands on its own, and closes up tight, with the tin banner top easily removed.
All the way open: 31" across x 14 3/4" with topper attached. Closed, with topper removed: 15 1/2" x 11 5/8" x 2". Some rust, mostly along the bottom and general wear; sturdy and sound.
