Gorgeous. I don't always go for folk art bottle cap creations, but occasionally I'll come across one that transcends the genre, while also fully embodying the capacity for the most mundane of materials to be coaxed into things of beauty. At just about for feet, this chain is quite hefty and substantial, allowing for all sorts of sculptural tabletop configurations, as well as hanging straight down and a long stretch of wall. Terrific color throughout and quite a bit of age to it, with a wide range of silvers and grays too. I want to call it very painterly, as well as very sculptural, really quite nuanced and lovely.
Approx 48 inches long x 5 1/4" wide; links each 6 1/2" to 7" long. Excellent condition.
