Pink Flowers, 19th C. Theorem Watercolor on Wove

I just can't resist this sort of theorem watercolor, pretty and full of life and feels like spring. I especially love the treatment of the very green leaves on this one, with finely hand-painted veins and lighter green underside revealed along one edge. Plus those fine filaments extending from the pink flowers that make them seem as if fluttering.

7 1/4" x 5 3/4" and in overall good condition; I mended a few clean tears from the reverse with clear archival tape. On wove.
