Another week, another old stool, this 19th century primitive one a perfect pedestal for a grouping of old carved wooden things. It looks from the underside as though it might once have been clad in light blue paint, but very few traces remain; instead, a nice warm dry pine patina. Found in mid-coast Maine.
14 1/4" l x 6 1/4" d x 5 7/8" t. Very sturdy and sound. Some darker spotting on a portion of one long side as documented.
