Most Beautiful Antique School Slate with Etched Grids, Square Corners, Nice Mend

I've got a special weakness for antique school slates, and I find this one as beautiful as any I've ever found--in significant part for the grids scratched into the surface of the slate on both sides, and for how the proportions and very square corners of the frame wed perfectly with the geometry of the gridding. And with a lovely iron mend/reinforcement to one corner, perfect old chain for hanging, and days of the week etched into the widest column of the grid on both sides. Super.

 11 5/8" x 8 1/8" x 3/8" and in beautiful antique condition. Very sturdy and sound, no issues, a great one.
