Early 19th Century Bone Dice-type Teetotum

Regular price $75.00

I've seen a few of these bone teetotem described as Napoleonic Prisoner of War; I am not sure if that is the case here, but earlyish 19th century I believe, and European. I love antique bone dice, but how much lovelier, and more fun, to spin a die rather than throw one! Used for playing games, mostly of the gambling variety, especially put and take. I have a few others in the shop with numbered sides, listed as a set here---pretty scarce and highly valued things, well worth scooping up I'd say!

2 1/4" x 1" in diameter. Good antique condition, shot with 2-3 x magnification, which reveals a tiny loss in one spot where the handle meets the middle, very minor and not visible unless really looking for it.
