Early Band-Aid Tin with Red Cross

Regular price $25.00

I'm a sucker for a red cross logo, and a big fan of early Johnson and Johnson Band-Aid packaging. Band-aids were launched in 1920, but it was 1926 when iconic Band-Aid tins like this one were introduced; this one I believe dates to around that time. The person I bought it from shared that after the death of his grandmother they found numerous Band-Aid tins in her home stuffed with cash--and indeed these tins were much saved e and used as containers for other things, which I think is part of what helped make the Band-Aid brand so ubiquitous.
