C. 1940s Hand-painted Hub Caps Sign on Cardboard

This and a second one just listed I purchased from a dealer in the Hudson River Valley who always has wonderful things of great variety; I'd guess these originated at a service station not far from there, c. 1940s. Hand-painted on cardboard with great color, making one nostalgic for the nearly lost art of sign painting--and also for the prices of yesteryear!

13 3/4" x 13 3/4". A little wear/loss to the corners but in overall good shape.
