This mask, Mexican I believe, and I think likely Guerrero, is all about the red and sky blue paint for me--great color, great surface, and surely we all need a second pair of eyes.I believe the red indicates it as a Moor mask, used in dances representing fighting between the Christians and the Moors (Muslims). It appears to have been worn and with a good bit of age to it, with remnants of string at the temples on the back.
6" t x 4 3/8" measured straight across back x 2 3/8" d and in good condition with some scattered holes in the wood.
