A sweet antique set of wooden spillikins, also known as jackstraws, played in the same way as pick up sticks--but much better for being shaped like tools and weapons--with the goal of extracting pieces one by one after throwing them out on the table. These old sets are labeled in pencil with point values (as shown in detail photos), with the archery bow especially valuable! A nice little set of objects whether or not one ever plays with them, and I especially like the turned wooden container for these, with old paint (or perhaps it is cloth tape residue) marking black crosses across its surface. A quintessential stocking stuffer if I ever saw one, just right for playing on Xmas day!
Box measures 4 1/2" t x 2 1/4" diameter at lid. All in good shape, with one hook-like piece that works pretty well for extracting the others from a pile.
