Persian Manuscript Gouache Painting with Wresters!

It's the pair of wrestlers on this illuminated manuscript page, Persian I believe, that really make it for me, though the gridded patterning on that bright blue floor, and weeping willows against gold, and lime green of the seated man's tunic really do it for me too! Gouache on paper, with terrific color and pattern and gestures throughout, earlyish 20th c. or so I presume.

7 7/8" x 5 7/8" and in very good condition, with a few stains and a little toning to the paper, as there should be.
