This faceted polyhedron type of antique pin cushion is my very favorite sort, such a little wonder of construction, and a showcase for a variety of colors and patterns, too. And I especially like that this one, on a couple of the facets, where the silk has worn through, reveals the cut brown paper templates (patterns) that were used to construct it. So lovely.
Approx 1 1/2" diameter. Good condition, with brown paper patterns showing on two facets, one of them held on with a glass head pin (which can be removed to reveal frayed silk underneath.) I think perfect exactly as is; stable and not fragile and lovely from every side.
