Super sweet. I've had one or two old Dennison brand office sets--boxes inside of boxes meant to provide everything one might need for sending a letter of a package, say-- from paper tags to air mail labels and everything in between. This wooden lap desk is like the humbly homemade version of one of these, especially as found, packed with paper tags and air mail labels indeed plus pins and chalk and binder clips and marking pencils, etc. With jointed corners, wire hinges, and a lid that closes square and flush, making a good writing surface when ready to address those letters! Certainly good for stashing and organizing all sorts of other things too.
12 5/8" x 9" x 1 3/4" and in very condition, sturdy and sound. (And as long as you hold the lid tight, things stay more or less where they are when the box is flipped over.)
