Quizzical Older Man with German Shepherd and Tall Stick, Vintage Velox Snapshot

What a marvelous pair these two make, two very lovelies. And such a gentleness between them----a poignant counter to the toughness of studded harness and big stick! Slightly hunched and head cocked, it also feels as if the man is regarding the camera in just the same way he would regard the shepherd, with a mix of curiosity and love and what do you want? (And then the shepherd would return just the same look!) Great.

 4 5/16 x 2 5/8 and in good condition. C. 1930s-40s I believe.
