This is one of my favorite things ever. It's a little ceramic slab rectangular vessel, teal green matte glaze, with awesome incised Egyptian-inspired drawings, different on each side . I'm not sure if it was a kid or an artist who made it (it is signed S.B. in childlike block letters), but I think it is a small masterpiece! Primitive and contemporary at once, and just a fabulous object to have around.
Dimensions: 4.5" long x 2" deep x 3.5" high. Very good condition. There is a small chip at the top of the incised tomb on one of the short sides, and a crack at one corner where one slab meets another, which appears to have been original to the construction of the piece.
