One of a couple more today by a young J.H Adair of Spring Grove, PA, c. 1905, which I purchased together; just my sort of drawings. I'll always say yes to an exuberant drawing of a bunch of flowers, especially ones with red stems and purples leaves and green petals! And I particularly love that the vase here was used to... draw yet more flowers! A good spot for marking the year, too. Feels heartening to encounter them still blooming 120 years later.
8 3/4" x 5 7/8. I mended some small tears with transparent archival tape to the reverse, stable now. A little minor edge loss/wear as evident. Stable now.
