Black Magic! Fun Vintage Painted Chalkware Book with Skull and Cross Bones (and interesting provenance)

This one made me laugh and I just couldn't resist, with the crudeness of the "Black Magic" painted across the face of the chalkware book especially doing it for me. I found it at a local antiques shop in my town of Ipswich, MA functioning as a bookend--no price on it. Upon asking, I learned it was a memento from the recent filming of Stephen King's Salem's Lot in town a year or two ago, several scenes of which were shot inside the shop. (The downtown street where the shop is located was transformed into something of a main street for the movie, c. 1975.)  And of course, a folk art bookend book of Black Magic with skull and cross bones to mark a film about a writer battling a vampire cum antiques dealer seems just right! Surely a haunted object, whether by supernatural forces or by Hollywood!:)

7 1/4" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/4" t. and in good vintage condition; no notable chips or cracks just a few scuffs here and there.
