I'll never pass on a naive little drawing invested with such love--what a charmer of a church, and row of trees peeking out behind and around it, and excellent shadow silhouette in front of it. I must say I'm a bit baffled to find it on the back of a piece of paper with typed address that appears to be postmarked 1945--it looks decidedly 19th century to me, and the paper does too. I'd really guess the drawing came first, and was repurposed, but I can't say for certain.
3 7/16" x 3 1/2", graphite on cream paper cut from an envelope, very good condition.
