Two Old Plumb Bobs with Wound String

It is actually the dowel with tip that sold me on this; I love brass and steel plumb bobs or all shapes and sizes, but even more I love the wound string and long point at the end of this wooden dowel, which would allow it to draw a plumb line as well. Useful in the studio or in the tool box for sure, but equally just beautiful things.

Steel plumb bob: 4 7/8" l. Dowel: 8 5/8" l. Surface wear as evident but overall good condition.
