I know next to nothing about this large black ink and watercolor drawing, which I purchased from a seller in India who deals largely in Sanskrit manuscripts; I just thought--and think--it would make a beautiful thing to stare at while deep in contemplation (or just zoning out.) I believe it would likely be best described as a Yantra drawing--a mystical diagram, mainly from the Tantric traditions of the Indian religions, used for the worship of deities and as an aid in meditation.
22 1/4" x 15 7/8". Executed in black ink and watercolor on rag type paper that itself has some age, though I am really not sure about the drawing. Very good condition, with some irregularity and a few scattered stains on the paper, all to the good I think. There is a taped repair to the bottom right corner, and a center fold line but it lays flat. Shipped flat, as always.
