I purchased this and a couple other kid made cut paper works (a Calder-esque cat sold last week and another abstract design listed today) from a dealer at Brimfield--they struck (strike) me as quite sophisticated things, feeling as much like formal studies by an accomplished modern artist of the early-mid 20th century as by the work of children. Crisp, elegant, and with the softening/fading to the dark green construction paper enhancing a sense of timelessness--really a very lovely and rather transcendent little piece I think.
9" x 6 1/8" and in good condition, with some fading to the green on the paper and light toning, all to the good I think. Signed twice, suggesting the child who made it couldn't decide between a horizontal or vertical orientation, and I agree - great both ways!
