I live with the belief that beauty is everywhere if one looks for it, and an old painted tin pail can deliver as much of it as, say a very fine piece of china! I like the lines and proportions of this pail, 19th c. I believe, and its tight fitting lid and perfect arc of a wire handle. And, especially, the old pinkish-taupe paint on it, more satisfying in person. Plus a perfect one to line with a plastic bag and use for picking berries or foraging mushrooms! Small joys.
6 1/2 t n/a handle x 5” d and in good shape. No major dings, paint nicely aged, and lid fits snugly.
