Beloved Pet Parrot, Late 19th Century Cabinet Card Portrait

Someone really loved their pet parrot! And a photogenic parrot it was I'd say, captured for posterity by Orgill photo studio in Hartford, CT, which seems to have operated in the 1880s-90s. Nicely atmospheric, and looks from the back as if it was glued into a family photo album, like a portrait of a belived family member. 

4 1/4 x 6 1/2”. A few stains, most prominently along the left edge near the center.
