Pile of Fruit and Pitcher, c. 1930s-40s Folk Art Oil on Board Still Life

A humble still life painting, and I would not claim a great one, but I love it in its honestness and unfussiness, and how the grape topped pile of fruit at center looks like a small mountain, or even an ice cream sundae! Nice mustard yellow for the foreground/table, too, lending warmth and also enough punch to make the painting hold up very nicely among a group of still lives. Nice for a cozy spot, too.

13 1/2" x 10 1/2" framed, as found. Painting 11 7/8" x 8 7/8". Good condition, oil on artist board, with a surface scuff/bit of paint loss showing white at left, as documented. Framed as found, with a bit of roughness to the surface of the frame at upper right, as documented.
