Such a curious one! And quite an old one, too. I call him spiral man, and think of him as a combination of human and nautilus shell, the latter also called a logarithmic spiral due to its embodiment of the Fibonacci sequence—and so perhaps this little carving holds the underlying logic of the universe in it! (He doesn’t look especially happy about it, though!)
5 5/16"x 13/16" w x 1 1/4" d. Carved of pine with a dark old dry wood patina. Some softening to his edges and point due to age and wear, surely, but in great condition.
