Mid to late 20th century Japanese, 14”x28” (with an additional 2" of fringe on each end), and 100% wool, this beautiful woven textile would be stunning as a runner on the dining table (how about underneath a huge platter of colorful roasted root vegetables?), or spread across the surface of a mid-century credenza. I can’t think of a better color scheme, and the off-center pattern of what I assume are water lilies turns the whole thing into a waterscape.
Excellent condition, with a couple of tiny spots visible only with close inspection.
