Miniature Red and Blue Two Drawer Cigar Box Chest

This sweet, cheerful miniature chest stands 6 inches tall, and I'd think was lovingly crafted by a parent or grandparent to house doll clothes or dishes or who knows what all? Removing the drawers reveals the top of the chest at least was made from cigar box wood, and the underside of the drawers suggests maybe soap boxes? A terrific blue and red paint job makes it pop, with orange on the the knobs. 1940s or so I'd think?

6" tall x 5" wide x 4 3/8" deep. Very good structural shape, drawers open and close with ease. A few dings, a couple of hairline cracks and little paint loss here and there, all pretty minor. eRally great looking.
