Folk Art Buffalo Train Station with Hinged Roof

Regular price $55.00

This handmade model Buffalo train station was surely once part of a model train set up, an a pretty great one I think it must have been! The roof is hinged and opens up, should one wish to animate it but situating a figure or two inside, looking out the windows. I found it in Maine but might guess it originated in or near Buffalo, NY, though as the Buffalo-Pittsburg railroad runs between the two, I suppose it might have be made anywhere along the line. Great lines, nice all the way around, hinges firmly attached, and nice again to the black and yellow paint. 1950s or so I believe.

10 1/2" x 6" x 7 1/8" t and in very good, very sturdy condition.
