You know if you follow my finds that I am very picky about my dominoes, and this is an excellent, beautiful, very substantial, complete antique bone set in their original handmade slide top box, which was crafted of cigar box wood and gifted to a Louisa Seyfert on Christmas, 1884. The bone on these handmade dominoes is wonderfully irregular, and attached to the ebony backs via three brass pins, and one can see that these were used and prized by virtue of the mends/reinforcements to nearly every corner of the box, which, thanks to them, is holding together well. A great, complete double six set to play with as well as to admire.
Box measures 7 1/16" l x 2 5/16" d x 2" t. Dominoes, which are full sized, measure 1 13/16" x 7/8" x 3/8" and are in excellent condition, with just a little greening to the brass pins, which could be cleaned but is all to the good in my opinion.
