This is a sweet little vintage Hopi Native American pottery bowl, hand-built and painted with dark brown slip, dating to the 1950s or so I believe. One side shows rich orange fire clouding, incurred during the firing. The Hopi is a sovereign nation located in northeastern Arizona.
Unsigned, it measures 3 3/16" wide x 1 5/8" tall; 2 3/8" across at lip. There is some paint loss around the lip and on the body decoration and some scattered stains/smudges, as documented; no chips or cracks.
