I think there's nothing like weathered and scuffed creamy white paint on wood; it's just so satisfying, and all the better with luscious red paint spelling out OPEN in perfectly imperfect hand-painted bold lettering over top of it. Yum.

This double-sided sign definitely spent lots of years announcing some business' openness, with lots of wear and stains all over that make it great The wood is still in good shape, showing a little splitting at the short sides, fairly minor, and there are two hooks firmly attached to the top edge for hanging. 33" long x 7 1/2" tall x 13/16" deep.
