I find this little wooden garage, 5 inches long, immensely satisfying. In part, I think it's the old creamy white paint in combo with that perfect hunter green, and the fact that that paint job is a little messy around the edges. Also, the two closed doors plus one open one along the front, and the little hand-painted windows on the sides. I have a hard time committing to larger scale, more ambitious folk art wooden houses and structures, though I love them, but the size of this I find just right, easy to prop most anywhere, maybe with a few little creatures out front! Very sweet.
1940s or 50s I'd think and in great structural shape, with small dings and wear and paint loss here and there, all to the good. About 5" long x 2 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide.
