Fabulous c. 1940s Handmade Papier Mache Santa Claus Mask

This is about as Christmas-y as I will get, but just no way could not resist this one, and I'd say it almost transcends the holidays. The backside is pretty fabulous too, showing what looks like mimeographed paper from a local newsletter of some sort, with the hand-drawn illustrations and typed text looking 1940s or so to me. There are no eye holes so wearing as a mask would be pretty challenging, but there's a red ribbon on top for hanging from the wall. The beard is super soft, I think raw cotton.

12" tall x 8 1/4" wide (measured straight across from the backside) x 4 1/2" deep and in very good, very sturdy condition. A little paint loss here and there as evident.
