I really like the graphic quality of the big red EGLANTINE across one side of this old wooden box, with nice jointed corners to boot. It once held 18 tobacco plugs--brick-like masses of tobacco, from which pieces were bitten off or cut, then chewed--but now is just a great box for holding tools, spices, art supplies, or whatever.
Structurally solid, with a little damage to the surface of the wood on one corner, as pictured.11 1/2" long x 5" deep x 2 5/8" tall.
