This is a small one, and I'd guess likely once one of a set of four that surrounded what must have been a pretty great dollhouse table, very early 20th c. I believe. Terrific hand-carved detailing of the back, legs and seat, which a mix of gold, creamy white and blood red paint. It's a bit hard to tell if all carved of one piece of wood or whether the legs were adhered; I think perhaps the latter, but if so very well done and completely square and sturdy. Just the sort of little folk art chair I'm forever looking at dollhouse furniture to find.
3 7/16" t x 1 3/8" wide and deep. Very good condition, with great again to the paint and a little loss here and there, all to the good I think.
