(Dreaming of a) PONY - Iconic Feeling, Perfect Little Antique Golden Brass Stencil

An excellent little golden PONY stencil--like the purest distillation of a certain sort of dreamy longing for an out of reach object of desire. With the PONY framed by thus recessed oval which has the effect of making it feel more like a sign than a stencil--and with the brass wrapped around a lead backing lending it some extra weight and objecthood. I didn't think too much about this when I grabbed it, but it's become perhaps my favorite find of the week, a perfect, very iconic feeling thing. 

 2 7/8" x 1 3/8" and in beautiful antique condition, radiant gold.
