Early, Ultra Sharp Cased Tintype of Bored Looking, Finely Dressed Young Woman

Ultra sharp and crystal clear with rich detail and tonality, this cased photo is I believe a tintype, under glass--though it is sealed and so I haven't opened it. I just love her, looking bored and a bit dejected, but very pretty, and finely dressed, with cameo at her neck, black ribbons at her wrists, and a ring on her index figure. Feels like being 14 or 15 to me! With her elbow resting on a side table covered in floral fabric, and ruffles at the end of the sleeves of her finely patterned dress, all in fine, crisp focus.  Definitely feels like a friend to me.

1/6 plate - 3 5/8 x 3 1/4 cased. Half the case is gone, and there is some spotting to the brass frame as detailed.
