For sure these terrific wooden nesting boxes would be great on the desk or studio table, or in the playroom for holding all sorts of things, but as I started photographing them I realized they are maybe even better for building tabletop sculptures! Just great, classic things that have already had a life, with some dings and paint loss here and there, but which remain really great looking and should last forever.
The largest block measures 4 1/4" cubed, smallest 1 5/8". 1950s or so I believe. The largest is stamped Made in Germany on the interior bottom.
