Feels like this bird would make good company for the naive horse drawing I just listed--winningly crude, with lots of heart to it. It appears to be made of some sort of cement, with a fair bit of sand mixed in it I think--and it seems to me the bird itself might have been partially cast from a child's bird-shaped sand mold, then animated with some incising for the winds and tail feathers and an eye applied to either side of the head. A charmer, meant for living in the garden I think, though I'd give it a proud spot inside.
