Catherineholm, Norway Vintage MCM Yellow Stripe Large Mixing/Serving Bowl

I spent my early years in a modernist house with Catherineholm bowls in the kitchen, so they evoke a particular feeling for me--and the sunny yellow of this striped one feels like coming home from the swimming pool in summer to dinner on the patio! I mostly leave mcm things to others, but happened to find this at an estate sale last week and had to  scoop it up, feeling to me like a happy, cheerful thing. 

9 1/2" d x 4" t. General wear/light staining to the interior and some enamel loss around the rim, as is typically the case with these when they've been well used. Lots of good use left in it.
