You need to wind a string around the base of this c. 1930s tin litho top to set it spinning (its original one, which would have come with it in a box, is long gone) but I think it's a beautiful thing whether one spins it or not. (And holding it by the handle, you can just manually spin it, like a pin wheel.) Made by Girard Model Works, an American toy manufacturing company established by Frank E. Wood in 1919 in Pennsylvania, which made some terrific tin toys.
Just shy of 6" in diameter and in very good condition, missing original string as noted.
